Beach type fabric, very casual, fit is below the waist

This is a dyed fabric, clearly stated. That means (and I've not washed it yet) you should wash it with other dark fabric items. I DO expect it to fade and acquire an even more casual, beach-like look to it. That is exactly what I was hoping for. I purchased these to wear on vacation and around the house -- they are great for that use. CONS -- I am 5'7" tall and a bit long waisted, these do not go to the waist on me. But for someone more petite that would be a good thing. Fabric may NOT be what you are expecting. So I added quite a bit about that. It is a cotton dyed fabric -- likely to soften up and fade with washings. I like that. PROS -- these are very well made, perfect for summer -- many pockets for stuffing a tissue, cell phone, snack PROS -- perfect for hot weather, draw string waist is adjustable much more than an elastic one would be PROS -- I've worn them for 24 hours (fell asleep during tornado watch last night LOL) and they are VERY comfortable I wear a 2X and they are true to size. Talking about - Collections: Women's Elastic Waist Cargo Pocket Capri Pant, Royal Blue, Medium: I purchased 2 pairs of these capri pants. One pair in the black and one pair in the blue. I saw in reviews that the white and tan had flaws in their seams coming apart. Thought these 2 would be okay, which they were as far as the seams. The material, however, is very stiff and very scratchy. unwearably (if that is a word?) so. These spread a little too wide in the legs but I just wanted them for around-the-house work so that didn't matter. I RETURNED them, HOWEVER, I had failed to check before ordering on return policy. Watch out, buyers, because if you don't like them YOU have to pay return shipping which is not cheap. I have made a note not to purchase from this seller again. I always check on return policy and don't know why I missed it this time. Only buy something if it is returnable to AMAZON. Read more

At first I was going to return reminded me of capris my mother wore …but they are so comfortable and they actually compliment my body I am 70 now so they hide that belly that we all get sooner or later but something with the placement of the pockets pulls it off.
