Perfect! Not too thick not too thin. I sized up, usually wear a 6 from Columbia and went with an 8 and once the cotton relaxed a bit it was spot on. I love the color of these pants but they need about 1% more give (stretch) to be comfortable, “all day wear” pants. I’m short and can’t ever find petite pants so I have to get them hemmed. Plus, they are not true “mid rise” pants and I closer to high rise - which it personally hate. High rise is the style these days and it is harder to find mid rise. Read more

Excellent Columbia Pants

Really like these Columbia pants. They are soft and comfortable, plus easy to button up. These wash and dry nicely (did not noticeably shrink and did not wrinkle). Perfect length for me (5'5"). I typically wear small in pants (ie, 28" waist Levis or size 6-8 depending on mfr), but have always found that I need to size up with Columbia pants. While a size 8 Columbia fit in waist, I purchased a size 10 for a bit more in the hip (alas, the waist is bigger and I will need to wear a belt). Overall, very pleased. Read more
