A compact and simplified rice cooker for smaller capacity needs. For white rice it cooks one or two cups, but for brown it only cooks one cup. Instruction booklet left a few questions unaddressed, like the one cup white rice option details, or the brown limit to just one cup, sort of misleading I thought. Also mentions as a "tip" for brown rice to be soaked for TWO HOURS, before cooking it for the set programed time of 1'40", really have to plan ahead on this one. Reasons the soak can be understood but odd this was just a tip, as if it was not required? Doesn't instruct to change the rinse water with fresh before cooking, but I guess this should be intuitive. Doesn't say anything about other types of white rice as is included with some other pricier models. Works as intended for my individual needs, cooks rice well. Read more

I just got this (4-cup version) yesterday & my first trial 1 cup of white rice is perfect! So fluffy,perfectly cooked,no sticking,no mess! I am so happy with this after trying several other rice makers,this is clearly the best one. Good price too. After the rice, I steamed corn on cob & also perfectly cooked. I love the way the top can be removed for cleaning & nothing sticks,just rinse & done. I'm going to make a small batch of veggie soup now. It is very pretty & takes a small space on the counter too. The media could not be loaded. Beautiful and very nice quality for this rice cooker, it has 9 different functions and also can pre-set time ,so awesome . Review after using it today-i used this rice cooker to cook brown rice the first time, I used one cup brown rice with 1.5 cups water , and I think 1.5 cups are too much water per this cooker's instructions. Next time I will only use 1.2 cups water to make the brown rice has more chewy taste . By the way I bought this brand of brown rice is the best chewy taste .
