These heaters put out an incredible amount of heat. I've been purchasing these heaters for years. After a few years of regular and sometimes constant use during most of the winter, an element in one of the quartz tubes will get weak or stop working. They would last much longer if the tubes were horizontal. Still, I keep buying them because you just can't beat the heat these heaters put out. Within 5-10 minutes of turning it on, I'll look over and find all of my pets sacked out in front of the heater, so even the pets like it. Read more

They heat up quickly, heat the space they are supposed to, and have a high and low switch for controlling. The price seems right, and they are sturdy.
