I've had a Yellow Bird for years and years. It got regular use. It is sturdy and reliable but lately if I turn it a certain way it shuts off. Something is loose in it and probably no big deal to fix but I'm not an electrician! I bought this one to replace it. The plug is bigger and because of the light fixture I can't plug it in. My old one was 1600W. This is 1875W which is the max wattage the wiring can take. I plugged it in the ac plug. The big difference is the blowing force -its much more and I dont like it. I had to return it anyway because I could not use it in the bathroom where the mirror and proper lighting are. Read more
