Top shelf isn't of much use

I really, REALLY wanted to like this product. But it's not designed very well. Can't use the top storage shelf because it's so high! The assembly was simple. All the metal used was sturdy. The over the door hooks were thin enough that I could still close the door without having to sand the door or door frame. And the space between the shelves was great. If I'd been able to put items in the top shelf I'm sure it would have held anything I put in there with no strain or warping. But the top shelf is slotted to sit ~ 8" from the top of the door. Which requires only short items be placed there AND makes it difficult to reach. Really wish they'd designed this with a couple of options for the shelf height. :-( Read more
