ok - I'll be honest, I thought these were the silliest gimmick I've ever seen... but when the wife asked for them - I ordered them anyways. Ever since she switched contact brands / types - she's STRUGGLED with getting them in and out... these silly little suction cup things have made her life SOOOO much easier. She tried them out, and bam - instantly she had her old contacts out, and her new contacts in. I was literally in AWWW at how well they worked. So here I am - retracting my statement about these being a gimmick - they're the real deal - and they work amazing. I am one of those individuals that struggle with the removal of my contact lens. I saw this product and was initially very excited for the opportunity to resolve my contact removal challenges. The manufacturer product listing indicated that this kit would include a lens case, two lens removal tools in addition to a practice len and instructions. However, the kit I received excluded the two removal tools. Unfortunately, with the omissions of the two removal tools I can not use this product. Read more

My young son was recently prescribed overnight contact lenses and I have been helping him with putting the contacts on every evening. Because of the price and fragility of the contact lenses I did not feel comfortable letting him practice with the real set as they could easily become damaged, scratched, or dirty from excessive dropping. This kit came in handy for giving him an opportunity to practice holding the plunger and cleaning the lens with saline formula. The kit comes with a much larger contact lens for practice, allowing him to get comfortable handling the lens and also two plungers to practice grabbing the lens. The lens that is provided is not meant to go into the eye but for low risk practice you can help your kid walk through the steps to clean and hold the lens before they work on the real thing.
