I love this pillow so much! I've never been truly happy with a pillow before this one. It's exactly what you imagine when someone says down pillow- its so soft and luxurious feeling. I like the high fill because you don't need multiple pillows to get a decent thickness, I've never had that with a down pillow before so that is really cool. Usually it takes at least two to get comfortable. One thing, the pillow will feel WAY to poofy the first night, I thought Id made a huge mistake with it at first and thought about returning it- but some other reviews said the same thing so I stuck with it and it mellowed out to the perfect fluffiness. And it is definitely all down- no feathers at all, I see little puffs of down trying to escape the casing when I'm changing my pillowcase sometimes. It's not a disturbing amount escaping though, just a few fluffs now and then. *Almost one year later and I still really like this pillow! It is definitely a LOT softer now though, it is still nice and squishy, but it does not provide as much support as it initially did. I'm kinda thinking about getting another one so I can layer them and get the thickness back, because I sleep on my side and like really thick pillows that my head can sink into a bit without flattening completely. It still feels much better than other pillows I've felt at the store, but I do miss how overwhelmingly fluffy it was the first few months. I still think it deserves 5 stars though, since it's just normal wear, just be aware that you maybe might actually want two in the long run if you like your head really propped up high. Read more

Love this pillow! Pricey, but given this is the first time I've purchased a pillow over $50, I can only compare it to poorer quality pillows I've had in the past and it is a HUGE upgrade. I haven't noticed any smell at all (per other reviews). On firmness, I would rate it softer than I thought it would be, but no concerns. Read more

I am writing this review as I personally, hated this pillow. It was so firm for a goose down pillow that it hurt my neck, but my son came to visit and I asked him to try it and he fell instantly in love with it, so I cancelled the return and gave it to him. He loves it and now I understand how personal pillows are to people. So, if you like a FIRM pillow, but still love the goose down and ability to crunch you pillow into a shape around you neck, this pillow is perfect. Queen size. Arrived on zipped bag, no vacuum sealed, just zipped. But we still threw it for 40 mins in the dryer on low heat cycle before the first use anyway. They came out very very fluffed. So we placed them in 600 cotton thread pillow protector and in a pillow case on top. Results - wonderful! No strange smell, just a light crinkle (mostly from tags, as I kept tags in case we won’t like). It has a medium firmness (so if you used to a brick lumpy feeling of memory foam or like sleep sitting up, probably not for you) and a big change from feather/down pillows. This is perfect-just the right combination of firmness and softness. Pillow bounces back within seconds, no feathers to poke you, gives good neck support (we are side sleepers), doesn’t get hot, and has airy feeling of sleeping on a cool cloud. Very good quality overall. All seams done well. Highly recommend. Won’t be returning these. Read more

I purchased this pillow based upon the reviews, and I will say that it is a well made pillow and well worth the money. That said, my issue with it, and the reason for the three stars, is that it is just not firm enough. It is described as being extra firm and having a firm density for side sleepers, which I am. Unfortunately, it is far too soft for me. I'd describe the pillow as being "medium to medium soft", certainly not firm. and definitely not extra firm which is a shame because otherwise I like the pillow. If you truly need an "firm or "extra firm" pillow, look elsewhere. I am returning mine. Read more

I was surprised to see I’ve owned this over 11 months already. I have the Queen 700 fill. It is holding its fluff and shape and comfort. Very high quality. But I have to say I did have to return one of two I purchased originally due to a persisting odor. The second one was just fine, no odor at all. So I held off on reviewing to see how this would hold up. 11 months later it is still as big and fluffy and comfortable as I remember it new. I sleep on all sides through the night and I find the center is the right height when on my side, and the edges are better (less high) when I roll face down or up. Keeps the shape I mold it to. One more thing I notice: it makes a difference what case you put it in. It needs a big enough pillow case to let air in when fluffing. I recently bought new cases and they fit a bit too tightly, and this seems to compress the pillow too much. I’ll have to find a better case as this pillow is pretty bulky when fully fluffed, except my current case prevents it fully fluffing. Read more
