It works... BUT, My Golf Cart isn't used on a golf course. So, it takes a beating. Holds on tight, but needs to be adjusted so the weight of the phone is below the center attachment, or bumps will knock it free. And when it does come free... It goes straight under the back wheel if on the windshield upright. I use it in my truck with one of the included adhesive backed metal plates. My placement is tricky, and I keep bumping it with my hand which knocks it off the mount, BUT no amount of road shaking or bouncing has knocked it off. So, it's actually great for vehicles. Very pleased with this phone mount. It's constructed nicely and is much sturdier than others I've tried for use in my car/cart. The holder seems narrow just out of the box, but expands a LONG way to fit my larger phone. So no matter what size phone you have, this will work for you. The magnet at the base of the mount is super strong and it's nice that it's covered by a foam rubber covering, so it won't scratch whatever surface you stick it to. We tested it on the refrigerator and actually decided it might be a nice option for my mom while she's cooking - hands free, right near the stove so she won't have to yell into it, and she will know exactly where to find it when she's finished. So multi-functional! It has some weight, but is not at all heavy and it grips the phone very well. There are additional magnets included that have sticky backing, so if you want to adhere to something other than a magnetic metal, you have the option. Thoughtfully designed and a solid value.
