My favorite water flosser. Powerful enough to get the gunk out, but such a great price as well. Lover that it’s very portable and easy to clean. Battery power lasts a decent amount, but it’s just best to keep it charged for maximum power and functionality since the less battery it has left, the weaker it gets. Read more

I purchased this because I also went under one of those “online” teeth aligning products, like Invisalign, but much cheaper, because who can afford much else these days. My newfound straighteners produced gaps in my teeth during the process so much that I am split on whether or not I rather crooked teeth than the pain of food items stuck between realigned teeth, because that’s been my only experience. I tend to always have a floss pik in my pocket because I chew on it when stressed, and it prevents me from saying things that got Trump not re-elected, on top of loving the feeling of a clean mouth (not verbally). However, my latest retainers caused newfound gaps, and a piece of meat got inevitably lodged between the space of two teeth that were both unhappy with it. I tried needle floss, thread floss, strategic brushing, power rinsing with mouthwash— what have you. I flossed so much trying to get the debris loose, it felt like I got punched in the jaw after all was said and done— but in the weird, nagging feeling, like you know something is embedded in the tissue around your tooth and apparently the Good Lord himself can’t make it go away. There was no parting water here though; just tissue that already parted because it was so inflamed, and like a clingy friend, was holed up between my teeth. The debris simply wouldn’t move. This product was the only thing that worked after three days of pain and discomfort prior to and a near dentist experience. Yes, my gums bled at the time I used it— of course they did, because I inflamed them by trying to floss with every thread-like item I could find nonstop. But to my relief, this thing popped out that little bit of debris into the sink like the debris owed it money. Instant happiness. Par none. Unfortunately I didn’t realize the power behind this little thing and inadvertently water-flossed the countertop, the bathroom mirror, and my dog when she ran up trying to figure out why I suddenly was yelling to God. This isn’t the “consistent” flow you’d get from the big tank waterpiks that can offer a steady stream but take up your wife’s side of the bathroom countertop; this is pulsating, loud, and it’s powerful. Like other reviews said, if it hits your tongue or tonsils, it will feel uncomfortable. The rest of my teeth are inadvertently clean because I didn’t know how to handle it at first. So is my bathroom sink at this point. And the pores around my mouth. My dog will probably run and hide the next time I turn it on. Sans the random human hair I found at the bottom of the brand- new packaged item —sorry to the probably enslaved worker out in Asia making pennies for a product I purchased at $30.00– it’s great, and it works. If the battery suddenly dies or it otherwise becomes obsolete like other users have reported, I’ll update accordingly. I am, however, super happy for it doing what hopes it would do. Yes, the ADA writ large says waterpiks aren’t a substitute for regular flossing, but if you like the feeling of a bi-annual dental cleaning, this is a great product. Obviously, it also works on strange occasions like mine. Such a major relief. And it beats a $80 equivalent that takes up half of your bathroom counter. Read more

Limited options for pulse speed. The high speed makes my gums bleed. My dentist said I should work up to that level slowly, but there's only 1 other level. The self-defined pulsing was too hard for me to figure out. Not sure how well it is actually cleaning my teeth. Like the ability to recharge with USB. Portion that fits into the water reservoir gets grungy after a while. Difficult to clean that. Read more

This replaced a standard water pik - the one with the larger water reservoir and a flexible tube to the actual waterpik wand. In comparison, the larger standard water reservoir style has two advantages. First, the larger water reservoir on the Waterpik model (compared to the handle connected 300 ML reservoir on this product) has plenty of water to do a thorough cleaning job for all your teeth. The smaller reservoir on this hand held product is barely enough to do a quick cleaning, leaving you the option to do a reservoir refill (which is easy to do), or just settle for a little bit of a rushed cleaning. I've learned to be efficient so I get my teeth pretty well cleaned with a single reservoir filling. Second, the biggest drawback on this handheld model is it's difficult to use the cleaning tip in anything but an upright wand position. Since the reservoir goes down at a pretty quick rate, the more you "angle" it to ensure you're squirting between the teeth you may find no water coming out. It's biggest advantage is simplicity (vs. the bulkiness of the standard Waterpick model), leading to ease of storage and travel , and it is adequate, with some accommodations, to give your teeth a good cleaning. The power is excellent. On the highest setting, it really blasts the water out. Read more
