Get This Mat!!
I've used lululemon yoga mats for 15 years, and when it was time to replace mine because it was slippery, I chose a different brand (Manduka - returned because it was also slippery). This is my third attempt at a new mat, and I love it! It is grippy, thick, and luxurious. I love it! Read more
Great quality & no slip!
I was so excited when my new mat got here! I used to have trouble with my hands slipping on other mats, but I don't think that's going to be an issue on this one! I've only done one yoga workout on it so far, but I'm impressed! It's extremely comfortable, wider than most mats, and did I mention my hands don't slip?? I want to support eco-friendly and sustainable products, so I love that this mat is composed of 100% cork and rubber, and that it is also non toxic. I mostly do yoga workouts off of YouTube videos, and this mat is perfect for me! Read more
Looks great, feels great, good grip on top, and great grip on the bottom.
Great feel, great grip, and looks wonderful. Has a rubberized bottom side for grip (not foam). Only caveat is that cork mats are HEAVY. If you plan to carry it around, just be aware of that. In my opinion, it's worth the weight because cork just feels so much better than foam. Read more
Good but...
This may worked great for the first few months. There was absolutely no slipping. But now about three months later I’m slipping and I’ve tried cleaning the mat, not cleaning the mat, and just wiping it down with a dry rag thinking that’ll get the natural oils off but nothing seems to be working. It’s not a horrible slip but it is noticeable and making certain poses more difficult. The mat is very nice and comfortable and I do love the feel of it but the slipping is my only complaint. I absolutely adore this mat. It's a bit heavy, but worth the weight.
I've owned this mat for several months of regular use now. It's in the same condition as when it arrived, and I absolutely love the natural feel of the cork when doing yoga on it. It really grips well when wet, so if you give it a little spritz with water, a hot yoga class will go really nicely with this. It doesn't slip or stretch out on any surface, and I've found that the material wipes off and dries nicely when hung over my staircase banister to dry. I would recommend actually cleaning it off properly with a gentle soap and water on a washcloth every now and then, as I've found it can grow to become slightly greasy to the touch if you have left a lot of sweat on it. It's definitely not the lightest mat if you're hoping to lug it around, but it is definitely sturdy and nice. I'd buy it again if somehow this thing wears out on me! Read more
