I don't know what people are expecting but it works perfectly for me and I have bought a few sticks at different times. So here is the breakdown of why I love this product and how to use it. It does not work instantly, it will take time. Once you use it consistently it will destroy the dead overgrowing skin and new refresh skin will begin to grow underneath it. It will make the dead overgrowth hard and white and then after using it everyday on the bad dead area that dead skin will peel off. Underneath it will be new softer skin. If you see hard skin growing back, rub this back on it until that hard skin once again, becomes peel-able. Soon nothing but new skin will grow and the dead skin will stop growing back.
