This corset is made really well with excellent materials and attention to detail. Unfortunately I ordered a size that was much, much too big and being as I got it through the Vine program I cannot return it for a different size. If you order from these folks make sure you use a fabric tape mesure to get your actual measurements and then pay close attention to the suggestions in the description of the product. I would also make sure you can return the item for a different size as needed. The way this particular corset is made you can actually tighten it up yourself and then tie the ties around your waist, or you can have someone help you and tie the ties in the back. It is an over bust design, which isn’t as flattering for all body types as an under bust design would be, as you might have too much breast tissue or not as much as would be needed to fill out the cleavage area. Well-made and excellent quality. The velvet is real, and not made of faux velvet. The boning is thick and stays in place. The adjustable string in the back is thick and strong. This is a top-quality corset that supersedes my expectations. I followed the chart and received the correct size for a perfect fit. I had to extend the back all the way to get it to fit, but I don't think It would have the same effect if I went up a size. For Reference I'm 179lbs 36D and ordered the XL. I do think the price is steep, but I cannot dispute the quality of this piece. Read more

I must say I have NO experience with corsets! I’ve wanted to try corset training but had absolutely no idea where to start. This one is made of a stiff cotton on the inside and velvet on the outside. The boning feels like metal and the busk is metal. I hope to get good wear out of it! I can’t wait to add this to an outfit and wear it out! Read more

I have two other corsets from Corsets Island which I love, and this one is no exception. It's gorgeous with real thick velvet, and the boning is metal and the whole corset is well constructed. Great fit on me. Good value if you want a true corset that won't fall apart after a couple wears. Highly recommend this corset and this brand. Read more
