Words cannot accurately describe how much I love this corset. I bought it for a cosplay and was not disappointed. It does come with EXTREMELY long laces on the front, but after I sized it to me, I just cut them. 10/10 and have recommended it to many of my cosplay friends. Read more
Poverty All-Natural Shopper—July 25, 2024
For reference, I’m an eccentric Goth that typically wears a teen size S or XS and a 32B bra, I’m 5’4, 110 pounds, and I have the Theatrical Romantic Kibbe body type. I ordered this corset in a size XS. I have acquired many corsets of varying quality over the years, and this one is now my absolute favorite, hands down! The material is thick enough that it tightly holds in everything you cinch into it, like actually. I had my husband lace it up very tightly from the back, and it really, really pulls my natural 25-inch waistline way in for an absolutely dramatic look. Unlike some other corsets, it doesn’t roll, bulge, or otherwise lose the shape I created when I lean in any direction. It keeps a completely stiff shape just like it should. I love the long length on my fairly short figure, as it IS plenty long on me, which means it doesn’t push a bunch of my skin and fat out at the bottom to make my hips look lumpy. Instead, it gives me that perfect hourglass shape, letting my hips and butt take over directly at their widest point for even more drama. There’s one of those large flaps on the inside running down the back so that any back fat doesn’t get pushed out the gaps in the laces back there. It’s plenty large enough to do its job and remain positioned properly, which isn’t always the case with corsets. This corset also provides me with plenty of cleavage boost, even without having to add any padding to my smallish bust, and it looks incredibly sexy overall. Finally, the design of this corset definitely complements my aesthetic, having a total wow factor. I seriously love it! It’s hard to say for sure whether the material is real leather as stated and not some type of faux leather, but it does feel and look better quality than most faux leathers I frequently see (as a goth), and so I’m fairly confident that it could be authentic leather. It might take a few years of observing how the material behaves to know for sure. In the meantime, I’m going to treat it as real leather by giving it the mink oil treatment every once in a while. Also, the stitching looks great! The laces just seem like thick shoelace, including having the typical ends that come on shoelaces. They’re strong enough laces to really hold this corset in, but I’d have liked a sturdier lacing material. This corset arrived pre-laced and has nothing like a zipper access (good!), so I have to loosen up the laces in the back all the way without untying them before having my husband yank this whole thing down over my head and shoulders (best to do hair and makeup afterward). The five laced columns in the front are laced from top to bottom so that the shoelaces tie off at the bottom. Since these laces are so very long, the excess lace hangs down far enough to almost make the bottom of this look like a fringe skirt. So, I decided to trim the excess lacing significantly. The problem with that is that these laces fray and shed immediately after cutting them, so I’ll have to figure out a way to cap them off again like shoelaces usually are and like they were capped before I cut them. See my photo of the trimmed laces pile to see just how much I ended up cutting off. In the back, this is laced to tie right in the center of the back, which is ideal for cinching this most prominently at the waist. I decided not to cut off any of the excess shoelace back there, since I need it all to be present for this not to come unfastened when I loosen it to take on and off. I’m fine with that bit of excess lace in the back, since it doesn’t become a skirt. Read more

Wow - this is a QUALITY corset. I'm not a corset-maker, but to this layman's eye, it seems expertly crafted. It is heavy and strong, too. I got it to wear at work, but it is definitely more than a cosmetic accessory: it is a real, working corset! My only slightly critical observation is that if you are wearing it for cosmetic purposes, the laces are definitely functional and plain - they look like regular shoelaces. But, that's a very slight point, as they are black and blend in with the color of the corset itself to be hardly seen. I'd give this 4.5/5 stars! Read more

This is the second-coolest corset in my collection, the first being a thick leather corset a friend custom-made for me that uses such thick leather that boning is not needed. I got this mainly for cosplays, and it's definitely perfect for that! Read more

This is probably the nicest, highest quality of corset I have ordered to date. It's made of a black faux leather material, with thin inner metal rods around the back that hold the corset's bowed shape. There are a large assortment of adjustable laces (five along the front, along with one more in the back. It takes a bit of trail and error to find the correct lace adjustments for the corset to fit, but once you have it properly adjusted, it's easy enough to get the corset on and off. Best to start by loosening the back, and then adjust in the front as needed until you get that ideal foot. The back features a 5-inch wide 'modesty panel' flap. It should be dry cleaned to avoid damaging/(soiling?) the leather material. This style of corset can be worn as part of a comprehensive costume, over an undergarment, or against the bare skin. It works for costume parties, nightclubbing, or even worn underneath a wedding garment. At about $90 it's not cheap, but if you're looking to get a nice corset, consider this an investment, and make sure to take care of it. It should last for several years of occasional usage. Read more

I thought this would be great to wear out on a night on the town. This kind of looks a corset would wear with a Halloween costume. It's giving biker chic or vampire. I now have to figure out where I'm going to wear this corset. Most likely to a biker party. True to size. unless your super skinny you will be pulling the strings to make it bigger for a long time.
