The fan came well packed, and arrived in a very timely manner. Was very easy to put together (two wing nuts under the base.). The base appears to be pretty stable and sturdy so it won't get knocked over. It's a nice. space saving design. It runs fairly quietly, but not completely silent, more like a nice "white noise" for easy and cool sleeping. We placed it off floor level on a small shelf and it fits nicely and won't get knocked over. First day using it in bedroom and it seems to work well. The fan has 3 speeds. There is no remote control, but we prefer it that way because remotes easily get lost or broken. The highest speed pushes a nice amount of air. You can choose that it rotates back and forth or use it on stationary setting. So far we recommend this tower fan, and will update review if we have any problems with it. Read more

After using so many fans with remote controls and 5+ different speeds and rotations and sleep functions, I was happy to have just a basic, analog fan. The speeds are controlled with a simple analog switch and there's another physical button for the rotation. It's also surprisingly quiet. I have another fan that was more expensive that is much louder than this. The base was easy to setup and it looks nice. The only way I can see myself being not happy with this fan is if in the near future it dies. I'll update this review if that occurs, and how customer support will handle it. Read more

Seems like a nice fan - quiet and puts out sufficient air. But I noticed that, if the 'oscillate' button is pressed, this fan will keep oscillating, EVEN WHEN THE FAN IS TURNED OFF! If you use the oscillation feature, to turn off the fan you must turn the fan selection knob to '0' AND turn off the oscillation (or else unplug it). I left it running for several minutes after turning the fan off and it kept oscillating the entire time. I have no idea what possible benefit could be derived from a fan oscillating after it's turned off. I'm wondering if this is by design (no mention of it in the single-sheet instructions) or if it's miswired. Another point - while the fan looks identical to the photos here, mine came with the brand name "Fantask" on the fan and on the box, not Costway. UPDATE 5/28/2019: I bought a second one of this model fan. I really like the quiet operation, the compactness, and the amount of air it moves. And I wanted to see if this one also oscillates even when the fan is turned off. It does. No idea why that's the case or what the benefit is, but I'm sure their marketing folks will call it a "feature" rather than a "flaw." Raised my rating to 4 stars (from 3) because of my overall satisfaction. Maybe someday someone will explain why the oscillation keeps going with the fan turned off. Read more

Really great, fairly quiet fans, especially when On a low speed. We purchased two and they really are great and don’t take up much space. Oddity- when you turn the fan off, make sure you also press the oscillate button to turn it off too, or it will oscillate with out the fan blowing lol. Was creepy. I gave this fan 3 stars since I couldn't do 3.5. The size of the fan is perfect for us and it worked great for a while but now 9 months later it isn't working as well as it did when we first received it. We have had this fan for 9 months and it not longer rotates. Also it seems that the It blows softer than it did we first received it. Read more
