This is such a pretty color! It initially looks kind of streaky when you put it on, but it is self-leveling and quickly evens out. In my picture I have 2 coats on. The first coat dries pretty fast- I was able to put a second coat on about 5 minutes after the first one. The second coat takes much longer to fully dry but that is normal for most of my nail polishes. The bottle is a bit smaller than I expected for the price, but I am never able to finish nail polishes (because I keep getting new ones to try and I like to switch up colors each time) so the size doesn’t really matter to me. I just did this manicure (so excuse the messiness on my fingers) so I don’t know how long it will go without chipping yet- but I will update this review in 1-2weeks when I can see the wear time. For such a light color 2 coats was enough for full coverage! The brush is very short and basically stick out of the bottom of the cap, but it was still easy to apply. I also appreciate that this company makes an effort to make their nailpolish safer and they leave out some of the most toxic chemicals that used to be common in nailpolish. Edit: it started chopping after only 3 days. However 1) i did not use a base coat or a top coat which would help longevity. And 2) I have to wear nitrile gloves all day for my job and that is hard on all nail polish. Read more

This is the perfect natural blush-pink nail polish. It’s the ideal “natural nails, but better” shade, looking clean, polished, and classy while adding a soft wash of light pink that helps hide minor imperfections. I wear short nails and it is quite challenging to find nude polishes that have naturally looking color, don’t “eat” size of my nails or create streaks that require to apply more sheer coats to cover the polish imperfections. I find this “Sunday Brunch” color as on of the best nude polishes in my collection. It delivers that perfect “my-nails-but-better” look. I like that it allows an application in one coat with smooth, super-even color coverage without any streaks. It is exactly as I want -- sheer polish with natural look, which can work as nail corrector to cover slight imperfections like nail discoloration or nail ridges. With that specific color and 1 coat, this polish tolerates even not very careful application, at least on my nails. In 2 or 3 coats, it provides nice opaque coverage with beautiful natural-looking nude color without any white subtones. Most of all, I appreciate that this Cote nail polish shows really great durability lasting nicely for 4-5 days without any peels or chips, which I experience with a lot of polishes starting at day 2 or 3. I ordered this nail polish in the Sunday Brunch color, and it is a gorgeous perfect neutral, beige with a slight neutral tint of pink. It looks incredibly classy on. With this color, the first coat is super sheer - you'd barely know you put anything on. Second coat - ok, now we've got something. To me, 3 coats are the sweet spot, and where you really get the color (If using alone). I could also see this being a nice color on top of a coat of a more opaque color. The consistency is very thin, but it applies nicely and very smooth. The bottle is small, but I feel that due to the shape of the bottle, you're probably more likely to be able to get the product from the bottom when it's getting low. I feel like a lot of polishes gives you all this product, but the bottom of the bottle gets wasted because you can't get to it. As far as the self leveling, it's ok. Not the best, not the worst - middle of the road. I am a bit of a polish snob and am picky about what I use. This bottle is 18 dollars (at time of review) and is tiny - .27 oz. I typically use bottles that are .5oz, so almost twice as much polish, but cost less. I am not sure what justifies the price on this. I will note that I love a cruelty free company! Read more

Very pleased with the quality of this polish! It goes on smoothly and doesn't streak or leave "lines" in my nails. It also dries pretty quickly and doesn't stay tacky for too long. The "Blush and Bashful" color is a beautiful, bright, cheery pink with just a subtle/faint hint of purple. A bright, playful color for either hands or feet! I feel like this polish had great coverage from just the first coat. And even with one coat, I didn't notice any issue with the polish chipping or peeling. I often do nail polish colors to match things in my life, such as my clothes, the office where I'll be, or even my car (glitter green)! But I sometimes just want a nice, lovely, pale almost neutral pink, and this is it. It goes on smoothly without streaking, but I do need to put on two coats. So far it lasts well for about a week. I'm very hard on nail polish, so this is good because I do a lot of gardening and yard work and some crafts. The little bottle is very nice and overall, this is very giftable. Read more
