Wednesday anyone??? These boots are that girl. Super stylish, surprisingly comfy, and they stay up (which is always the real test with thigh-highs). The platform and lug sole make them feel sturdy without being heavy, and the stretch material hugs the legs nicely without cutting off circulation. The buckle detail adds a cool edge, and the half zipper makes them easy to get on and off — no struggle required. I’ve worn them for hours and my feet were still happy. I've ordered several pairs of boots from this brand, and have always been impressed with the quality, and this pair of boots is no different in that regard. The boots are sewn and constructed well, and the souls are comfortable with a large round toe box. They fit true to size, or perhaps a little generously for a size 9. I always order a half size up in boots because I like to wear thick socks, as a typically wear a size 8.5, and these feel like a comfortable, un-restrictive 9. They are very comfortable and easy in which to walk, having a thick, combat-boot like bottom. I'm not sure how others will feel about the fit of the fabric and leg portions of the boots. I have skinny legs, like really skinny, and these boots nearly fit around my ankles with socks on, rather than being quite large. However, the boots taper wide as they ascend, which is probably more ideal for most legs, but on me, the tops fall down. There is a decorative buckle on each top and outside boot that was an entirely missed opportunity to be functional and a way to "tighten" the tops of the boots to secure them over the knees. I'm kind of an anomaly, so it would be wise to check a variety of reviews. Despite the minor fit issue at the top, these boots look fantastic and very true their photos. The value seems on point with the quality. These are really nice, high quality boots. I got them for my daughter for Halloween (she is going as Harley Quinn) and she loves them. She says they are very comfortable, look great and are of high quality. The zippers and buckles all work well and they appear to be of solid craftsmanship.
