These boots feel terrific because they are high quality boots meant to be worn all day and look terrific doing it. The leather is supple and strong, the stitching is excellent, and sole is made of tough but non-skid material that reminds me of Vibram soles. There is a mesh material on the inside of the boot that allows your feet to breathe, and the insole is nicely padded. My Wife loves the way these look and if it weren't for a medical issue these would be perfect and do fit true to size. She has bunions on her feet and unfortunately these are just too narrow in the toes for her to comfortably wear. That being said these are absolutely genuine leather, you can tell by the lovely smell that genuine leather greets you with. The design and stitching's on the boot are well crafted and look great. These boots are amazing! As you cna tell, I have already worn them HARD. Their first outing was outdoors in the mud and rain for HOURS. They stayed completely waterproof, and the break-in period that day was bearable. Honestly they are super comfortable and in that cure original cowgirl look without the goofy toe! I have also worn them line and swing dancing and they have held up great. Super grippy both in the mud/muddy hills/dance floor and comfortable as heck (not taking into account some intial break in pains). These are high quality leather boots. Love the wing pattern design and at first would not be easy to wear as these are real leather as with any leather shoes, it does take time to actually break in. These look great on jean skirts, long jeans and shorts. It will take several wearing to really become easier to put on as they seem comfortable. Read more
