I am thrilled to have stumbled across these boots recently! First, I am a huge fan of cowgirl boots and all things Texas. BUT, these are not necessarily cowgirl boots, so look at the photos and read this carefully if that's what you're expecting (I personally could see from the listing that they were not typical western style boots). They're unique in a cool and different way! This boot sort of mixes moccasin and cowgirl boot together for a very one-of-a-kind style I've not seen before. I love that the heels are super low... almost flat, but not quite. This is what gives it more of a southwestern vibe than a western vibe. What creates this style is combining a high-end faux suede upper and back of boot fringe (plus a "barely there" heel), with the pointy western cut of the boot. I really like the combination! So. My favorite thing about this boot is the style, for sure! The fit of the boot is right on target, but I do have some difficult to fit feet with my right foot having a wider toe box than my left. So the fit on my right foot is snug and rubs slightly, but not so bad that I don't feel like it will give a bit in the toe box over time. That could just be wishful thinking, but this boot is so awesome I want that wish to come true! Ha! I know that the average person wearing a size 8 will definitely fit nicely into this boot! I'm very excited about this unique pair of chocolate brown faux suede boots and cannot wait to put together the perfect outfit! These are really compliment my fall wardrobe for sure! In terms of value, I have to say that they are a solid value. I do believe that a higher-end boot designed like this would definitely cost a lot more, so it's possible the longevity of these are at risk because of the great value involved. I won't know until I've worn them for several months, at which time I'll be happy to update this review with how they're doing. They're definitely a standout in my wardrobe and I'm not likely to forget about them anytime soon! My recommendation if you're looking at them is to go for it! They are just so fun and unique. And my other foot is super duper comfy in it! So that's the normal size 8 foot and that's the one I go by! I might size up half a size if I had it to do over again. So if you are concerned about the toe box, I would definitely order up half a size. But if you tend to be a typical size with no odd foot issues, these is a definite true fit! Just love 'em! Great quality. This pair is a perfect mesh of simple western boots meets modern. It was easier to get these on than other pairs which is nice. My only complaint would be that these are a little narrow for anyone with a wider frontal foot. I will not be able to wear this pair with thick socks or pants. More of a fall staple for myself. These are the most comfortable boots I’ve had on my feet in my entire life! I’m a very boho/western wear person. These boots go with almost everything you wear or you can wear them for just goin to the grocery store and they still amplify what you’re wearing to another level. I love that the tassels aren’t so long that they tangle with the other boot while walking. They are just above the ankle boot, and the suede is so soft and high quality. I wear them more than my other boots because they are so cushioned. The black is very dark which is so nice! I normally wear a size 9.5 but these are size 9 and they fit like a glove! I sprayed mine with a protectant because I live in Minnesota where we salt our roads. Putting the protectant on saves the suede from rapidly deteriorating. Read more
