These were not for me. For starters, I'm 5'3 and these just hit a little too high, and since they don't scallop in the back, they were naturally uncomfortable in the leg. Then they were just too slouchy in the ankle making my leg look heavy, and since I'm only 5'3 with a size 10 foot, I think the kitten heel combined with the semi pointed toe, just made my lower legs and feet look un-proportionate. This is a very comfortable boot. I put it on at the end of a hard day at the end of a hard week when my feet were swollen and my hip and knees were aching. I have osteoarthritis and a complex meniscus tear from years of jogging, running stairs, and high impact aerobics. The bottom of my feet hurt all the time so I walked around in them for a while on my flooring and I was surprised that the bottom of my feet didn't hurt. The boot has a comfortable sole and the insole is well padded under the instep and heel. Speaking of the heel, it is actually low enough for me to walk in because with a complex meniscus tear you can't wear heels and have the knee off balance. The initial reason I ordered the boot was because it looked as if it had a large calf shaft. I have always had large calves and had to get boots especially for large calves. I was able to zip the boots but barely. Once I zipped them they were not uncomfortable and did not squeeze my calves as I thought they would due to a rubber inset at the top of the boot that allows it to stretch while walking. As a reference point, my calves are 16.5 inches around. The boot is really soft and flexible as well. However for me personally the price is a little high but maybe not for others. Read more

These beautiful dark rich brown boots are a great addition to your wardrobe. They will pair with nearly anything depending upon your age. I’m 75 and wouldn’t wear with shorts but at 25 I probably would! The knee high length will make your legs look longer and short girls appreciate that. The boots are not real leather they are vegan leather made from plants or plastic. Before you go yuck let me tell you, I have a purse made from a plant based vegan leather and it feels like real leather. I’ve carried it everyday and no signs of wear. There is no odor to vegan leather that I have had. The boots are very soft to touch and very easy to clean with just a damp cloth. The boots carry a little nostalgia feel with kitten heel and square toe. They have a non slip rubber sole. They are very comfortable for an all day wear.
