This is the third pair of boots I have ordered in this brand. For me, the comfort matters more than anything including them not being leather. And these are comfortable. I wear a size 8.5 but I usually order a size 9 in boots like this with pointed toes because I have a wide foot. Since the last pair I ordered was an 8.5 and they fit comfortably, I decided to take a chance and order these in a size 8.5 as well. My toes aren't being pinched or squeezed. I'm able to walk around in them even on hard surfaces and that is a plus because I have arthritis in my feet and the bottom of my feet are sensitive to pain and are easy to start aching. I ordered the lighter brown pair, and they are a really good-looking pair of boots with the fringe and rhinestones. And most of all I'm able to put them on which is usually not the case if the boots do not have a zipper because I have a high arch which makes it harder for my feet to slide into boots. Also, for boots that come this high up the calf, I can only wear the ones made specifically for larger calves so I wasn't sure if these would fit. These fit my calves with no problem.
