So far so good. I've used it a few times and it has done a good job. The smoothies are smooth and it works well blending the bananas, eggs, oil, etc. for my banana bread. Right now, it works as well as the Vitamix I had. Hopefully it will last as long (15 years). The cover keeps the noise down which is a plus. Read more

This is a very effective and powerful blender. The power and speed this blender has is of professional grade. I am able to make smoothies that have a very smooth and creamy texture. I am very impressed. It even comes with a removeable sound cover to help limit the noise. It is an awesome design. I am even finding to it be easy to clean and maintain. I highly recommend it. My husband loves this blender and uses it daily. He is constantly making himself low calorie shakes and Frappuccinos since we set it up. The unit is large and comes with a big blending container. The bottom has a sturdy solid set of blades and the drive gears on the base and it are also all metal, no plastic. Operation wise its very simple, on or off, with a speed control, or set speed pulse. The cover greatly reduces the volume and even when blending a large amount of ice you can hardly hear the sound compared to what a normal blender makes. He uses it for his breakfast in the mornings some times and I never even notice, unlike a old regular blender you would have heard in the whole house. He puts 1/2 cup milk, 2 tps espresso powder, some no calorie sweetener, and about 3/4 of a 20oz tumbler of ice. Runs it for 15 sec and then pulses it twice and its done. Blended smooth, no chunks of icem and cleans up in the sink in a few minutes. Awesome blender we can't recommend it enough. Read more
