Best blender I have ever owned. Had to go on a liquid diet after dental surgery and needed a blender for a short term. This is the best blender I have ever owned. The jar is one piece, and does not go in the dishwasher. You put water in it, run the blender, and then hand wash it. It also does not fit under a counter with cupboards over it. The media could not be loaded. My entire family is a fan of high speed blenders and we make smoothies almost every day. We all started with basic Ninjas and then most of us upgraded to Blendtecs, which are obviously quite expensive. Vitamix - forget about it, you could buy a laptop for that price! My parents were the last ones left to upgrade, and we were lucky to find this Cranddi model--it's an excellent balance between price and power. The interface and design are quite similar to the classic Vitamix models, so it's quite basic and simple to use. On the flip side, you don't get all the fancy programs that a more digital version might have, but that's okay -- just start it low and gradually go higher, and it will liquify anything you throw at it. Other cool accessories include a tamper (to thoroughly blend anything still not hitting the blades), and a to-go smoothie container. Main gripes are that once you turn it on, the blades have to spin. The other is that it can move a bit due to vibrations if it's imbalanced so you may need to hold it down depending on the load (until everything is smooth and it balances) . Read more

This is a good blender for basic stuff. It isn’t good for spinach, nuts or ice. It is much better than stuff from Walmart. I think a vitamix or ninja is much better. Read more
I did not want to buy a popular brand so I had to research a lot before I decided to buy CRANDDI. This had just one good review. But I decided to go for it since I also got a 30% off coupon. My main requirement was that the blender should have a wattage above 1000. So, it's been two days since we have used it, and have made smoothies 3-4 times now. We love this blender; it makes frothy, creamy smoothies!! It is powerful. If you follow the instructions carefully in the documents provided, you should be good!! I look forward to using this machine for years to come! I highly recommend buying this blender! Read more
