I absolutely Love my Assure Sleep by L’COZEE Waterproof Cotton Terry Mattress Protector - After buying a mattress I did some real searching for the right protector. Not only does it have the extra depth but it is quiet, soft and cozy and does not take away the comfy feel of my mattress as its ultra thin and noiseless. The advantage of the waterproof is that it protects from spills of my pets and kids, as well as when a cup of water spills (I have tried it!!) The protector fits over a normal size twin mattress and also goes over the sides. It is also soft and doesn't make any crinkly sounds. The big negative for this product is that it is NOT, DEFINITELY NOT WATERPROOF. It did not keep my son's pee from going through the protector and into the mattress. My son didn't have his accident until the morning and it wasn't too long after that we pulled his sheets. The mattress was noticeably damp and had a pee smell to it.
