I finally had to buy a new crock pot after 30+ years...my old one silently died (play 'taps). Smithsonian was tempted to acquire it. I tried to get a basic crock pot brand (like my old one) but features had changed over time...image that. It was so wobbly with only three feet on the bottom. A disaster waiting to happen (dogs would have been pleased). Returned and researched and came across this Crock Pot version. It is programmable, but the off, warm, low and high settings were still basic with the light indicator (exactly what I wanted). More importantly, it has the four rubber feet making it really stable. Large 7 qt and clean white ceramic pot. It is really nice looking. I turned on and it started heating within seconds! I think I found my crock pot for the next 30 years.
