This is a beautiful piece a great writing instrument. A great gift for the hard to buy for guy in your life that likes cars and tools cause that is what a writing pen is. The smooth finish on the barrel is so smooth but still Hardy. I was a little worried about putting the cap back on the barrel thinking I'd scratch the smooth finish on the barrel but I haven't. It's just a great reliable but beautiful writing instrument. Here's a quick edit: I still love this Ferrari Cross Writing Pen but after using a good bit more I have learned something that new buyers would find interesting and a little annoying. I already spoke about the smooth finish on the main barrel of the pen, well it's so smooth that the cap doesn't stay on the end of the pen when you are using the pen. I've tried several times to place the cap firmly into the back end of the pen but as soon as you write a sentence the cap slips off again. As you can imagine it gets quiet annoying after awhile but the only other option is to lay the cap to the side on a table or in your pocket. But then you risk the chance on losing the cap plus the cool Ferrari emblem is on the cap not so much the pen. So because of the cap not staying on the pen or worse chance losing entirely I've lowered my rating from 5 stars down to 4, it's still a beautiful writing instrument that writes lovely. Read more
