Very easy to clean & wipe off. Has a removable inner lid that's easy to take out to clean making it hassle free and accessible. Rice quality came out nice and fluffy. Also tried making oatmeal & steel cut oats and the texture and moisture is as that of a restaurant. As far as functionality goes it's pretty straight forward and does the job in a remarkable time frame. I bought this so I could free up a burner while I cook. The rice cooker works well. I like the steamer basket for vegetables. It takes up a lot of counter space, however. It is faster to cook rice on the stove. It you eat a lot of rice it is probably worth it-we do but I wish it were a smaller item. Read more

I got this as I make all kinds of rice very regularly, and so getting a rice cooker I can use for a while was important, as well as it being able to do a good job. So far this unit seems to get all that done, and it is easy to use and clean too. It has a large capacity, and is great for my normal needs of 2-3 cups uncooked rice. I have been using a much cheaper rice cooker, which was fine but definitely wasn't great. You'd end up with some crusty rice bits on the bottom, and it wasn't as versatile as something like this which has multiple smart settings. I've cooked everything from white and brown rice to quinoa and oatmeal in this, and it has cooked it each of those perfectly every time. It's very easy to clean, dead simple to use, and not ugly to look at. My only suggestion for the manufacturer to improve this is to switch to a metal steam basket, since I don't love that it's made of plastic. Not only will warp over time, but I tend to not like to cook in plastic for chemical reasons. That still isn't enough for me to remove a star though, as I use this on a regular basis and it has become a staple in my kitchen. Read more
