I purchased this alongside the Toto portable bidet. After testing both on a recent out-of-state trip, the CuloClean was my go-to choice. While I liked the ease-of-use, built-in reservoir, and extending wand of the Toto, it just wasn't nearly as effective as a real bidet. It works, but just doesn't really get you clean without some extra help and a second round of spraying. The CuloClean, on the other hand, was nearly as effective as a real bidet. While it was a bit of a wide, shotgun approach -- usually requiring some drying of the toilet seat after using -- it did result in "clean" paper after, which is all one can ask. You also have a lot of control over the strength of the spray by how hard you squeeze the bottle. Don't worry about it leaking water when you flip it over, though -- a teaspoon or less usually spills out, but then physics takes over and the water will sit there until you apply pressure to the bottle. In addition to being effective, the CuloClean is small and easy to carry. You do have to provide your own bottle as a reservoir, but it's still a great choice for the airport or hotel. I plan to keep one at my desk at work or in my "go bag". I think I might finally be able to stop buying and using pocket "flushable" wipes! Read more

Backpacking luxury! PROS: - perfect fit on my water bottles (Smart Water is my brand of choice for backpacking) - nice fit in my backpack belt pocket next to my trowel - gets me clean. easy to use - squeeze a little and the mess comes off! CONS: - did take a while to figure it out in terms of how hard to squeeze. Too hard & you get too wet which isn't fun. Read more

I used this product every day for 3 weeks on a thru hike of the Ozark Trail in MO. It works great but the stream is far too wide and uses a ton of water in a short time. I was much happier on future hikes with the Holey Hiker bidet: smaller, 1/3 of the weight, and has higher water pressure with less water usage. If you're new to portable bidets you need to use a different method than with a typical toilet bidet that can effectively power wash you clean. Wipe first with natural materials, then spray with the bidet while scrubbing with your other hand. Air dry your bottom while you place the bottle between your knees and wash your hands with soap and water in the stream. When hiking I use one of my smart bottles, and while otherwise out and about I take a small collapsible hydrapak bottle with me which folds down and fits in my pocket. Read more

Small and convenient! This was really well thought out and is shows in its design. Stays perfectly in a water bottle. The only thing I don’t love is that when you flip the water bottle upside down it will immediately start leaking without and pressure from your hands. I also wish I bought it in a brighter color incase I drop it while I’m backpacking to make it easier to see, but that was a mistake on my part lol. Read more

This product is GREAT when you want to use water efficiently to clean up Camp Kitchens - I always want a quick way to wash my hands around the picnic table - without dumping a bunch of water. Standing water draws gnats, pouring from a jug or water bottle uses far more water than I need. This is perfect. Backpacking Folks - This lets you wash your face or anything else you might need with a minimum of weight and water. Backpacking Gals - This thing works incredibly to keep the things clean you need to every month while juggling the trail. Some folks have said they wish it had a 'close' feature so they didn't need to swap it back to the original cap. I wouldn't trust that kind of an open/close feature in my pack, this is perfect to me. After a weekend of use - I'm buying this for all my friends. Read more

I always made fun of a bidet being naive as an American. Then I got a bidet at home and love it. I would never have it any other way now. This product is a great way to have a bidet on the go. I just probably wouldn’t use it in a public bathroom with someone in a stall next to you as they will probably wonder what the heck is going on as it makes noise with the bottle and all, but also, who cares. So much better than toilet paper alone! I have carried it with an empty water bottle to a bathroom, filled it up with lukewarm water warm water, and used with great success. Read more

I was overly enthusiastic about this product seeing how portable and convenient it is. With this you can just carry a cheap plastic bottle around and use that as your own personal bidet. It seems great... in theory. 1.) The water pressure is not nearly strong enough to do anything, even if you squeeze with full force, the water pressure is only ever strong enough for a light stream. It can come in handy when it's your only option, but I wouldn't rely on it too much. 2.) It doesn't have a satisfying 'click' when plugging onto a bottle. This seems like a stupid thing to point out, but I feel like it's important to point out. You never know if you plugged it into your bottle hard enough, you're left there concerned if it's going to fall off into the toilet or something. It never fell off in my experience, but it seems like that is not an impossible thing. Read more

Takes a bit of a learning curve. Got wet. But I just can't leave home without it. As the saying goes. Far cleaner than toilet paper. Read more
