Ok so I generally like to an item like 2 or 3 times at least before I review it but I dont use a hair dryer often and I just happen to use it today the day I got it before I head out to dinner. Right out the gate, it feels well made, has a decent weight to it which for me means quality. I know some people like air light but I feel like a lil weight goes a long way into saying their is material in here which means you are getting what you pay for. If it were too light, it wouldnt feel right, not to say its overly heavy either. As for the temp setting, she gets HOT in a hurry and plenty hot. The handle itself feels great too. I like how its smooth but still has a lil bit of texture to the point where it doesnt feel like it will slip unless I want it too. The magnets feel great too, they dont feel like they will come loose unless I want them too. Worth the price. Read more

This hair dryer definitely makes my hair more smooth than the traditional hair dryer I was using. It’s lightweight, has good flow and I like the magnetic attachments. I was looking at so many on prime day that I didn’t realize this one didn’t have a cycle setting - that would have been nice but not a big deal. The only thing I wish it had, was a longer cord. I'm afraid to say that the dryer met all my expectations. From the moment I opened it, I was blown away, and when I picked it up and felt how light it was, I was completely amazed. The high-speed motor is no joke, and the ionic technology makes my hair shinier and softer. I also love how light and quiet it is. I can dry my hair without feeling like I'm in a wind tunnel or working out my arms. The temperature control is very easy, switching between hot and cold, depending on what I need that day. What I liked is how small it is, making it very easy to carry in carry-on luggage when traveling. Please don't hesitate to buy it; it's really very good; it's on par with more expensive brands. I am not sure where all the negative reviews are coming from for this drying but it is the best hair dryer I have EVER used. It is powerful but there is a lower setting that feels the same as a low quality dryer would put out speed wise. My hair dries in half the time and has never sparked or done anything to have me questioning my safety. You can see a red light when it is on high coming through the front but not sparks ever on high for the time it takes to dry my hair (shoulder length), 5 MINUTES! If the dryer is getting so hot it is sparking, how long has it been on? Either way, I love this dryer and wanted to type up a review for those that might be interested. I have had this one for about 3 months now, best decision ever! I also upgraded my straightener to a babyliss from the store bought kind and I am ready to go in like 10minutes! that is wild to me since it always took at least 30 minutes with me sweating at the end because it was taking so long with such heat. Item description indicates that it's made of metal (aluminum) however, it is all just cheap plastic like the others that are even a bit cheaper with same/similar features. It does have some metal ring near the areas where the attachments magnetically attach but since 'aluminum' isn't magnetic, they can't claim that THAT makes it aluminum either. Also claims to be an "ionic" dryer which it does not seem to be either - In negative Ion dryers, you can typically see the little electric spark-like discharges near the blower motor which this does not exhibit. It IS two speeds as indicated but even the lowest speed is waaaaay too high for styling. Very misleading as I was hoping to get a more durable and travel-worthy item. This will be scratched and/or cracked in no time as it is NOT built for a lot of travel use. Incorrect and misleading details in description prove these are just thrown in as a marketing ploy. These products, and the sellers selling items that don't meet the actual description should be stripped and banned from selling on Amazon. If I hadn't already used it and experienced the item getting scratched the first time out, I would return it. I bought the extended coverage so at least I'm gonna get a second one for $0 once this fails from use, as it most certainly will. Read more
