This blow dryer truly exceeded my expectations! Not only is it tiny but it is mighty! I am someone who has to blow dry my hair every time I shower. For as long as I can remember I’ve only ever gotten store bought blow dryers for around $20-30 and use them for a few years, then replace. They work well enough but also as someone who wears a head full of tape in extensions these blow dryers still take forever to dry my hair on the cooler settings. This one cut my drying time in Half!!! Not only is this blow dryer, smaller, aesthetically pleasing and modern looking, it works very well, and is quieter than most!! There are two speeds, low which is probably equivalent to my last blow dryers high setting, and then there’s a high setting. I’m not even kidding, when I first turned this on and it was towards my face, it took my breath away. IT IS POWERFUL. I also noticed when using it that it seemed to blow cool, then warm, and then warmer. Then would go back to cool. I did not mind this at all. My hair not only dries faster but I had zero frizz. I absolutely love this blow dryer and will continue to use until I can no longer, then I’ll be getting another!! The only con I had was the handle is a bit thicker around and smooth. As someone who has smaller hands it does make it a little harder to hold onto as I’m blow drying around my head. I’m scared it will be easier to drop. But that being said, if I’m careful it shouldn’t be an issue. This ionic hair dryer has one attachment to concentrate the direction of air flow that attaches magnetically. It has two control buttons. The top slider button allows you to select low or high air speed, and the lower push button toggles between temperature settings. It starts with cool (blue LED around the dryer), then goes to purple for warm, orange for mid-warmth, and then red (which is HOT). This dryer has a cool feature. It will rotate through all the temperature settings while you are drying your hair, but you can have it pause on any of its heat settings. When it hits the color of the temperature that you want, just hit the button and it will hold that temperature. This hair dryer made a bold statement that it could dry hair fast - so I timed it. I have chin-length hair that is fine and thin. I decided to use the cool setting and the low speed, and did not use the concentrator. My hair was completely dry in six minutes and five seconds. That’s pretty good for me! I’m sure if I used a higher air speed or more heat it would have gone faster. I didn’t use any styling implements, and my dry hair fell in a nice, natural style. I could finger comb without catching big tangles. I did test the dryer with the concentrator. It was easy to attach to the dryer with its magnetic connection, and it removes just as easily (pops right on and off). I found that the concentrator got very hot very quickly when using even the medium heat setting. Both the medium and the high heat setting felt way too hot (for me) and I was worried about getting burned. I’ve seen other ionic dryers at around $100, so this is a pretty good way to see if an ionic dryer suits you. Read more
hair dryer dries my hair much faster than my previous one and has made mornings so much easier. I love that it has two heat settings plus a cool setting and the airflow is strong but gentle. Even my daughter complains less about having to blow dry her hair since we started using this one. It feels lightweight in the hand, is easy to maneuver, and leaves hair smooth with minimal frizz. This may be the quietest hair dryer I have ever used. It also seems to not blow as strongly as my old hair dryer, but it dries my hair FAST! The size is compact, or at least much smaller than my old hair dryer and one I would be willing to take travelling with me. The dryer seems to be made of high quality materials and is durable. I rarely use blow dryers because I find them bulky and difficult to use. Imagine my surprise at this dryer. It is light weight and the head of the dryer doesn't extend out but rather is at the top of the handle. This makes it so easy to move around my head, very comfortable to use. I found the heat levels to be very sufficient for my needs. My hair is short and on the medium level the dryer did its job in about four to five minutes. There are three switches--speed, temperature, and thermal cycle. All are easy to set. I also like that it does not take up a lot of room in my bathroom cabinet. The dryer is also very quiet in sound, so you could take it on vacation and you wouldn't disturb another person in the room. The size and weight make it a great travel dryer if you don't want one of those really small ones. The dryer also has a great sleek modern look to it. I have no complaints and my wife likes it as well. She has long hair and was happy with the way it performed, especially the easy of movement with the dryer and the heat levels. Read more
