Ok…. Most important….make sure buyer is aware that the unit MUST be plugged into a proper outlet BEFORE trying to OPEN the door. Trying to open the door to retrieve the owner’s manual before plugging the unit in correctly only results in frustration. It does not matter if every display microwave in a store opens when the door button is pushed/activated, this convection oven/microwave does not…..put this information taped to the front of the microwave. Seller was fine and shipment was prompt, but unfortunately the oven itself was defective on arrival (convection setting caused the oven to overheat after just a few minutes, and then shut down). This should have been identified at the factory. Read more

The microwave worked well as expected of Dacor. However, since the company has been purchased by Samsung, I had to contact their customer service to obtain the installation frame pictured and referenced in the user manual to complete the job. I was advised by Samsung personnel that the frame shown was not available. I was told that they had another frame, but I explained that it was not acceptable because there was no provision to release heat buildup. Now I have to build something myself to complete the installation. Read more

This is a replacement for the same model purchased 9 years ago. Improved over earlier model likely because Samsung purchased Dacor. Has ceramic plate vs. earlier metal. Display is improved. Nice looking. Read more
