This is a SOLID mount adapter for any surface that magnets will attach to! The mount magnets are VERY strong, be sure you place it in the right spot or you may have some difficulty moving it. The mount is very easy to assemble, but read on. Remember to route the power cable through the center hole in the mount before attaching it to your mini, otherwise the cable gets squished a bit. Deducting a point for lack of instructions (apart from the image on the Amazon page). Assembly: It's simple, but do yourself a favor and assemble the mount to the Starlink pipe adapter with the screw heads at the base of the magnetic mount (pointing upwards), nuts w/washers on the pipe adapter. Otherwise the screws stick out the base and pose a scratch/dent situation on your hood/trunk/whatever. Read more

Si vienes para Starlink mini no me llegan los tornillos en forma horizontal la única forma de que agarre es poniendo cruzado el soporte. Luego la cabeza de los rornillos es muy alta el soporte no traba porque hace distancia con la base Read more

This magnetic car mount is a practical solution for my StarLink Mini. The unit works as claimed, and the magnets are truly super strong—I was impressed by the gripping power on the roof of my 4Runner! The great news is that the mount comes off when needed. You simply pry your hand under a corner of the base to relieve the suction from one of the rubberized magnets; once one releases, the unit tilts up for easy removal. I had no fear of it damaging the vehicle's paint due to the rubber coating on the magnets. Assembly Notes and Helpful Tips - Assembly was mostly straightforward by looking at the Amazon product page (I didn't find clear instructions in the box). While putting it together, I noted a few crucial points: Washer Placement is Key: You must ensure the washers are used correctly to recess the metal bolt heads and nuts below the level of the rubberized magnets. Double-check that no metal is touching your vehicle's paint after assembly. Minor Bolt Fit: I had a slight challenge using all three mounting bolts to attach the base due to interference with the bolt used on the StarLink tripod adapter. This is a minor obstacle and didn't stop me from securing the unit firmly, but it's worth noting. Versatility and Conclusion - A huge advantage of this design is its versatility: the car mount can still be left attached to the tripod adapter, allowing you to quickly transition the Mini from road use to a stationary tripod setup at camp or home. While I feel the components are a bit pricey for what they are, the performance and convenience are undeniable. It's a great concept that functions well. I feel comfortable hitting the rough West Texas dirt roads next weekend knowing my StarLink Mini will stay securely attached. Recommended. Read more

I ordered the magnetic version of the Daiertek Starlink Mini mount. The magnets are insanely strong. I had to use plastic, non-marring pry tools to break contact with my vehicle's roof! This is a very secure way to mount a Starlink Mini on a flat-ish metal surface. The mount arrived disassembled, without instructions, but assembly was pretty straightforward using the pictures on the Amazon product page. The nuts and bolts provided to attach the mount to the Starlink pipe adapter were a poor choice. If assembled the way the pictures show, the bolt ends will scratch the vehicle's surface. Flipping the bolts around provides a little more clearance, but not a comfortable amount. I swapped the hardware with low-profile cap-head screws and am now 100% satisfied with the performance of this mount. Read more

The magnets are remarkably strong. They're grippy and covered with rubber to prevent marring and movement on whatever surface you're mounting to. This mount is very sturdy even with only two magnets attached. When all four magnets are attached, it's a challenge getting them off, which is great. Once it's in place it's not moving without significant force. The metal frame is powder coated and appears to be non-ferrous. The weakest part of this type of mount is starlink mini's plastic flagpole mount. Assembly instructions were not provided and required a little trial and error. If the screws are threaded as show in the listing's pictures, the exposed ends will sit proud of the magnets and crash/scratch into whatever surface you're mounting to. The screws should be installed upside down to avoid damage which is just slightly counter intuitive. This does, however, also block the tightening screw for a flagpole, so the only way to get dual-usage out of this mount would be to cut the short screw after assembly. The screw holes fit perfectly with a 2025 Starlink Mini's flag pole mount which is included in the original box. This mount may not fit older Mini kits without the holes, so check that your flag pole mount has them. The picture of the horizontally mounted starlink is just to prove how strong just two magnets are. Read more

If you placed the screw one direction, it will scratch your car if you place the screw the other direction it will block the bolt for the pole mount. Read more
