I enjoy listening to this masterfully dramatized version of the spoken Word. The words are delivered slowly, deliberately, expressively, and in character by both the male and female readers, which I very much like. In my opinion, which may be unique to me, the only weakness in this presentation is an occasional obtrusiveness of the background music, detracting a bit from my concentration on the words. The player is excellent, delivering a clear sound with plenty of volume. It is quite easy to operate and will quickly take you in the Bible wherever you want to go. The battery retains its charge a long time, and the earphone (included)/speaker jack make it versatile for listening. The Operating Manual is well-written and easily understood. I like the ESV version of the bible and I alternate between the other versions I own. The Daily Meditation Audio Bible Player is inexpensive so I can afford to own several versions of God’s Word so I don’t miss a detail. I have them strategically placed around my house and I even take one to bed with me so I can listen to Psalms while dozing off. I have players that are several years old so they are durable. I find it’s very easy to use. My kitchen unit I start on Genesis 1:1 and let it play through the OT while other units I move around within the New Testament. My dad had given an old model that wasn’t a dramatized version of King James to my teenager son and my younger son saw how awesome it was so he asked grandpa to get him one as well. So my dad told me to purchase one and I ordered this dramatized version and it’s so great that my mom just bought 3 more for the other grandkids. The Daily Meditation Audio Bible Player has been such a GIFT to me. I drive A LOT and don't have much time to sit and read the Bible. Listening to the Bible being read to me has made my commutes a lot more enjoyable. This is also great for listening to the Word of God while you sleep. LOVE IT!!! This thing holds a good charge, sounds good and I enjoy the changing voices and background noise. I tend to read the NIV so I get to appreciate some translation differences when I read and listen in tandem. The method for finding verses is pretty straightforward if you know the order of the books of the Bible, otherwise you'll need a reference. Read more
