I have experience with a couple different models of audio Bibles... this is the best. The good: build quality, ease of changing books, sound quality, reader's voice. A blind or legally blind person, with a bit of practice, would be able to move around the Bible with ease. Other audio Bibles are not as easy. The bad: the first chapter or two of each book has music in the background, but since it's only the first chapter or two of each book, it's not a distraction. This is an awesome audio Bible! The sound is very clear & easy to understand! It a very good quality & the small size is wonderful! I sleep with it playing all night (as your spirit does not sleep). It plays all night without needing a charge! This Bible is also teaching me how to pronounce all the difficult names as I read along with it when I do my Bible reading in the morning. This is my second purchase of this audio Bible One for me & one for my granddaughter & her 2 girls (they love it!) I highly recommend this audio Bible for old & young alike! I bought this player for my aunt and cousin who live way across the country from me. I want to send them an NLT Bible that they could just close their eyes and listen to with minimum effort. One that could also let them select specific books and chapters. They both are facing very severe health circumstances. I started playing the DM1 NLT player last night, to preview before sending it all the way across the country to them. My husband and I both liked it a lot.
