Exactly right! This is a knit fabric that’s not too lightweight and not too heavy. It doesn’t look provocative as some column skirts do and it doesn’t look like prairie boho as others do. It has a gentle draping A-line that is feminine but not frou frou. I have returned a few items in my search because they just weren’t quite right. This was my keeper. I'm always a bit dubious about ordering clothes online, being that I'm in that strange area between being "plus size" and "regular size" (ugh, stupidest terms ever). But I decided to give this a try. Not only did it arrive within just a couple of days with regular shipping, but it fit really well and was very cute! It was a little more snug in the tummy area than I was expecting (I have a thick waist and basically no hips), but I just put on the right undergarments and it looked killer. It's super versatile, too. Great for dressing up for a night out or for wearing to work. The length was perfect, but worked better on me with heels than with flats. The material was soft and stretchy. My only point I didn't like was that the waistband on the inside has exposed elastic, and it's the type of elastic that never seems to last for very long. I bought two, size medium, one is seal gray and the other is navy blue. Fairly heavy, good for fall, winter, spring. The waistband is a wide elastic, folded over and fastened only on two sides. This is not a flaw, but some might think it is slightly inconvenient. Soft and wrinkle free. It comes just below my calf, and I am 5'6". Read more

It is more of a sweatpant material. It is OK for business casual, but not really dressy. Also, the hemline was angled on one side. I don't think it was intentional, just poor construction, but I make out like it is funky and wear it anyway with leggings. I do love the elastic waist which looks fitted instead of gathered. It was very comfortable, attractive and well fitting, coming past my knee at 5'8". It has a nice drape. well worth the money. Read more
Overall I'm quite pleased with this skirt. It's a great basic a-line and wears well. It fills a specific need and I have felt good wearing it. There's no tag to show front/back. The waist band is comfortable, but not stitched down, so when putting it on, that can flip up, a bit annoying. Read more
