This skirt is soft and flowy. It bounces around as I walk and I think it looks so cute. The color is a nice deep red too. I'm 5'6 and about a size 6-8 and it sits comfortably just below my knees. I bought the medium and it fits me very well. The material is stretchy enough to pull it up to a high waist or to let it sit at the hip. I think that this skirt is very versatile and its so comfortable. I'm very happy with this purchase and I recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and casual skirt. Read more

Great swing dance skirt! Wanted one that isn’t too short. It hits just at the base of the knee. I’m 5’7”, usually wear size 6 pant, and ordered a small. Probably could wear a medium as well. Fabric is like a tee shirt jersey (gray) but has a very nice drape. It’s obviously not an expensive fabric, but it doesn’t have that shiny look that that is a deal breaker for me. Will probably get another in a different color. Read more

Fabric is thick so could be worn comfortably in the winter too. Domes a little below my knees. It’s got a thick elastic waistband. It’s a cute skirt, was hoping it would be more tulip shaped, little more fitted and then flare out, like the picture appears. It’s a true A line skirt but bough which is fine just not as flattering Read more

This fit perfectly! My order came today and I wore it right away after trying it on because it was so comfortable and looked so good on. I've already ordered a second skirt in a different color today. The waist was loose enough to be extremely comfortable, but not loose enough to droop or shift around (I wear between a size 12 and a size 16 depending on the cut of a garment since I have ample hips); I ordered the XL and I could probably get away with the L, but I love the barely-there comfort too much to size down. It's very flattering and comes just below the knees. It can easily be dressed up or down depending on the top and shoes you pair with it. I cannot recommend this skirt enough! I wish they carried all of the colors in the XL size. I will be checking back often because I can tell that this is going to become my go-to skirt. Read more

(Daniel's wife speaking) I really like this skirt! Pros - Material is not super thin or see-through -- it's a little on the heavy side, but very comfortable and cool, and looks expensive. - Flattering and very comfortable. - I'm very tall -- 6' 1" -- and it was just about knee length. Yay! - Doesn't flare out too much, or cling too much -- a perfect balance between a super full skirt and a pencil skirt. Cons - The elastic waistband inside the skirt is about half the width of the waistband, so it creates sort of a line/wrinkle in the middle (see pic). I can easily smooth out the wrinkle, but it usually comes back after a little bit. - It's a little larger than expected. I have a 33"-34" waist and got the XL, and it was a bit too loose. (I just wear it lower on the hips.) I will be buying more, for sure! But I may size down, and try the other style by Dani's Choice that doesn't have the curved waistband. I bought the same skirt years ago and I wanted to get another one but in a different color so I ordered a different color and it’s much thinner. Still a nice skirt but it’s not what they used to be. Fits as should I ordered my regular size Read more

Okay honestly I bought a medium then came back and bought a small. Both fit just fine and the medium is a bit looser around my waist, but it's still comfy and super cute. This fits just as expected and the material is super soft and it definitely hugs your butt when the cloth falls around your body. I'm honestly probably going to be buying more of these because it's the perfect skirt for high-waisted styles and body flattery. (first red skirt is the medium, second green skirt is the small) Read more

I realized the sizing was for the Asian market, so tried to order up a size to compensate. It wasn't enough, I should have gone up two sizes, to a large. When I first held up the medium I'd ordered, I didn't think I'd be able to fit into it, the waist looked so small. Fortunately knits stretch. But my next one - and there will be a next one! - will be what they call a large. Other than sizing, I love the skirt. Beautiful color, workmanship was fine, and the knit was heavier than expected. (I was afraid it was going to be too lightweight, like tee-shirt weight jersey, judging by the light one could see through the lower hem in the photos.) The knit was substantial, reminding me almost of the weight (and feel) of French terry, but with a nice slightly suede-like hand and drape. It's my new go-to favorite; classic, graceful lines, and simple, comfortable, goes with everything. I'm going back for more colors. Read more
