This skirt is, simply put, perfection. It is generously cut for a good twirl (one is never too old to enjoy a twirly skirt) and it has POCKETS! The fabric is nice and thick and the colors are rich. It sits comfortably on my waist or my hips and drapes beautifully. I got brave and ordered some cropped tanks and they go together so well. I can dress these skirts up (I currently own two and will likely order more - can we get a medium blue or slightly lighter navy, please?) or dress them down and they look great. It works with a blouse, a sweater, or tees and tanks. For winter I’ll probably try out one of the slightly longer skirts by this brand. I have basically lived in these skirts since the first one came a week ago. The attached picture is of the one I got today, hence the wrinkles with it being straight out of the package. In daily wear the skirt doesn’t really wrinkle that much. Size seems pretty accurate - I got smalls and I feel like I could gain a few inches at the waist (mine currently measures around 27) and still be fine. Just order one! Read more

This skirt is much nicer than I expected. The material is a thicker knit - kind like a ponte knit. It’s not see through at all. Not itchy and seems well made. The length at the knee, it has an elastic waist and two decent sized pockets. My only complaint would be that the elastic in the waistband isn’t sewn down so it wants to curl when you pull the skirt on. I can easily fix this with a stitch or two to keep it in place. I plan to order navy one since I accidentally purchased black and I’ll probably go down one size as well. The skirt is flared and fit a bit too big in the hips but I think that was my error buying the wrong size and not because the skirt runs large - in my opinion. Skirt was well knit, fabric was a heavier weight and slightly stretchy. Not overly warm but can transition seasons easily. Unfortunately the construction just wasn't great. As shown in the picture, the waistband is quite wide, however the elastic within is only about half as wide as the panel, meaning that the elastic flipped and twisted pretty easily while putting on and wearing the skirt, especially if you tried tucking a shirt in or slouched at all when sitting down. I also thought the skirt would be a tad shorter, as the picture makes it seem above the knee, but it hit at about mid knee cap unless I hiked the waistband under my bra. The pockets didn't stick out too bad, but they do jut out right at the widest part of the hip, making you look even wider. Anyway, not a bad skirt, especially for the price, but I returned it and would prefer to find something a little more well structured and perhaps with a zipper. Read more
