Comfortable boots that scuff easily. I’m a huge fan of Dansko shoes and boots. I’ve worn them for decades. This is the first pair I’ve bought that scuffed within the first hour and continue to scuff every day. Luckily I like the worn look. Other Dansko boots I bought recently do not scuff like this. Love that these are roomy in the toe box for my wide feet. But, they are pretty stiff overall. The material does not give. It’s more of a molded, patent leather feel- if you’ve ever had shiny patent leather shoes, you’ll know what I mean. I do like the support on the inside and the heel feels sturdy. I think they will hold up over time. If you’re looking for a soft, buttery, leather boot, this is not it. But if you like the feel and fit of Dansko clogs, then this is your boot.
