I usually wear their heavyweight socks for hiking, but I wanted something lighter to use with casual boots — and these were exactly what I was looking for. These are my favorite socks. They are the most comfortable, durable socks money can buy, and you should buy them. Even if they wear out, they will warranty them. It is an amazing company. I love socks. I especially love Darn Tough socks. They offer a superior fit and feel that simply cannot be beaten. I wear them around the house when its cold, I wear them when I go hiking/camping, I also wear their tactical socks when I am on duty as a volunteer firefighter. They are truly a great sock, that has a style and look for everyone. Are they pricey? I guess, but I don't care, because they are worth it. These are my boyfriends favorite socks, he originally wanted them because they have mountains and he’s an avid hiker but say after research these are the most durable hiking socks around. He actually will on use these when hiking now. They keep his feet warm when they get wet, they fit perfect, and they keep his shoes from giving blisters. Wonderful material with just the right weight and strength for long hikes even with the sun beating down. Socks stay in place on feet and in shoes to prevent blisters for excellent comfort. The design is a little boring IMO but does not take away from the overall quality. Read more
