Buy the sock! They are worth the money!
I purchased Darn-Tough socks last summer and the quality and softness was exceptional! I then purchased the blue boot cushioned sock but since I died my blond hair black, I do not wear as much blue as usual. When I did wear my blue pair just like this (just not wool), I loved it. It started snowing a lot in OK this year so I ordered the green wool ones. I got my package of these in and was opening the package when my friend and across the street neighbor came to visit. We talked about how much I had liked my summer Darn-Tough socks and none of them have to be replaced this summer (although my sock taste has changed but more on that later). I had on my blue Darn-Tough boot socks and I was telling her how cushiony yet never sweaty feet they were. She was interested so I just handed her my new green socks to try. If she liked them, she could pay me for them. If not, then a wash and I would have them back! Did I mention that my neighbor's feet are almost always freezing and as soon as she can, she is going to have surgery on her foot one surgeon messed up and surgery on the other one also? She took the socks but thought she would return them because of the price. I did not like the price either but when you guarantee lifetime warranty you expect to pay more. Until I bought the socks last summer, I always run through them and get holes from somewhere even 3-4 washings in, but not Darn-Tough! I have never had a sock that lasted the full 2 years but I do not even have wear patterns on any of my Darn-Tough socks. Anyway, my neighbor took the socks and called me a couple of days latter. She could not believe that a pair of socks could keep her freezing feet warm while they did not get sweaty when she wore them under the covers! She immediately brought me over a check for them and I know that she will be ordering more through me. I just went to the Sock Addict web site (where the darn-Tough socks are sold and I was immediately met with a chearful lady wanting to help me. Remember when we used to have sales clerks in stores who helped you find what you were looking for without looking the whole store for something, well whoever trained her must have been a former sales clerk but she was online asking me what kind of sock I was looking for. Since I knew what I wanted (a sock kinda like this one but was sorta like black hose so I could wear them under my long skirts which are coming back in style. I needed a lot of ventilation for summer so she said hold for a sec and then she put me on the page of these wonderful socks that matched my description so I bought 3 pair (they were not Darn-Tough brand but same warranty). Boy do I love wearing them just around the house and under skirts for church. They are super comfortable (my feet always get too hot and sweat but not with this Companies Brands. I just bought another pair of the black ones in white for my husband and he is another convert. Sock Addict, your products are A+++ in my book well worth the money. Read more
