I bought this to install in a car but initially used it in a moving truck as I made a final trip from Colorado to the east coast. It would be the last time I would most likely see some of the mid-west highways and landmarks of my childhood so I was enthusiastic about recording the scenery in addition to the protection the dash cam could offer. I made sure it was recording after every vehicle start up as to not miss anything as the weather and scenery was extra beautiful this time. When I arrived home, I was disappointed to discover that my SD card only contained the last half of the trip (the half I had no desire to see or archive) despite only using about 100Gb of the 256Gb card. Normally I wouldn't leave a review on a junk product but this really let me down. Also it records in separate 1 minute files which would have made it nearly impossible to archive to begin with.
