So, I’m just starting to get into cooking and I really don’t know anything about knives. I didn’t know what the hell a Santoku knife was, I just wanted something that could cut through onions and vegetables really easily. THIS KNIFE IS CRAZY. I could not believe how sharp it was. Cutting through thick red onion was so easy, I just had to lightly push down and it went right through. The balance felt fine, i think it may take a few uses to get used too. I will admit the first time I used it the onion was a little wonky. And I did accidentally cut myself because I didn’t realize just how sharp it was, but it didn’t even hurt and barely left a cut. I can’t speak to the rust resistance yet, and I will note that this knife does NOT come with any protective sheathing. I’m really impressed with the quality and the price is really great compared to how expensive they can get. Would definitely recommend for first time users/beginners especially!! 🔪💯 Read more

I absolutely love this knife. I do a lot of cooking, just about every night. It's perfect for chopping, each slice is like cutting through butter. Stays sharp and is very lightweight. I have put it in the dishwasher, top rack every time and there's no issues. Would gladly buy again. Read more

THis is an excellent knife. I cook at home so am not a chef with intimate knowledge on goo knives. but this is the best kitchen knife I've owned. Very sharp out of the box and comfortable in hand. Love it. Read more

I thought when I received this, I should have got a 5" knife and wasn't sure if the metal handle was what I really wanted but, I just used it and found it comfortable to use and will be happy to use in the future. I do wish it had a sheath. Read more
