Dell 144Hz Gaming 27 Inch Curved Monitor with FHD 1920 x 1080 Display Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync

It is an excellent monitor, it works Perfect, I arrive in good condition, without any problems, there are no dead pixels and it looks very good, I think that the 27-inch size is too big to be 1080p but it still looks very good. It includes its cable of current and an hdmi. I use it to play with a laptop with an RTX 2060 and it takes advantage of GSync and 144hz perfectly (to use GSync you need to use a display port cable, so you have to buy one separately since the monitor only includes an hdmi cable , to use Freesync you can use hdmi or dp). the monitor is very good, it does not produce heat and it is held very well and it has a support that allows you to adjust the monitor to your liking except turning it. a small observation is that the base being vertically movable you must apply pressure on the monitor, the base is a bit hard so you have to lower or raise it carefully since you can damage the monitor if you apply a lot of force (I recommend that you use your two hands to move it and holding it directly from the center at the bottom where the logo is and the top so you don't have problems and complications when moving it) on the base it holds very well and won't move unless you do. It is very comfortable, good and small frames on the screen, it is not very thick, it is very good and Perfect. One detail is only that in the shipment, as it is not packed in a box and as it is sent directly in its original packaging, it is very damaged, but in the same way it is only the box and inside it is very well protected. First off, the size is fantastic. I love the curve and while I was a little weary from some reviews, the curve just works great. The look is sleek and really performs flawlessly. I use it for my Series X and Switch and I love it. It gets pretty bright and I've never had an issue with it feeling too dark. The colors are vibrant. It may only be 1080p, but it holds its ground well. Response time is quick, and even throwing on a show or a movie looks good. Pros: So this this monitor might have the best VA panel I've ever seen. I game a considerable amount and I can honestly say this is a great gaming monitor! The black smearing which VA panels are notorious for are almost non-existent and I say almost only because I was intentionally looking for them! The response time is spot on, so much so that I don't notice it. The curve is perfect for immersion and if you are coming from a flat panel after a few hours you may not be able to go back to flat panels. The menu controls are exceptionally easy to navigate, the stand is sturdy, and the overall build quality feels very premium. Truthfully I can't say enough good things about this monitor! Cons: While there isn't much negative to say, nothing is perfect. There is a small amount of backlight bleed, but I only notice when I put a black screen on! Honestly if I had not done that I would never notice it. The stand is only tilt and height adjust, but I knew that when I bought it and personally I have no need for swivel and rotation. Other Thoughts: My previous two monitors had been a 144hz 1440p flat panel and early 35 inch 2560x1080 curved ultrawide and I don't miss either one of those. I could have easily gotten a 1440p curved display but with gpu prices going crazy with no end in sight and wanting to run game at a high refresh rate with high details I opted for 1080p (which still looks amazing even on a 27 inch display). I have zero buyer's remorse and hope this review helps anyone on the fence in regards to this particular monitor. I had been thinking about getting a new monitor for several months to upgrade the home office. Originally I was looking at monitors in a bit higher price range that had higher than 1080p resolution, and at least 27 inches in size among other features. I kept seeing these Dell S2721HGF in my search and they almost hit all the criteria with screen size, high refresh rates, plus some bonuses such as a curved screen and G-Sync. I decided to go ahead and get two of these monitors and see how I liked them. They're fantastic! feels and looks high quality I am loving the curved screen more than I thought I would. I don’t write many reviews but I’m sitting in a restaurant bored so I thought I’d share my thoughts on this monitor. I do not like dirty Dell as a company and generally avoid their products. However this monitor was just what I was looking for at the right price so I gave it a try. At 27 inches it’s arguably too big for 1080p resolution but since I only use it for gaming it’s perfect. My monitor had no dead pixels or other issues and, so far, I have been really happy with this purchase. It works at 120Hz on my xbox series s and 144Hz on my computer without any problems. My gaming PC has an old Geforce GTX 1070 video card and since upgrading it at MSRP is impossible for the foreseeable future I needed to stay at 1080p resolution if I want anything more then 60Hz. I didn’t want a 1440p monitor because running 1080p on a 1440p monitor is less then ideal to say the least. This monitor met my needs and, so far, I have no complaints. Read more
