Like many potential buyers, I had my reservations about going 'renewed' or 'refursbished.' Shipping was not "pretty" as I had to clean up the machine after receiving it. However, it has been been nine months since my order and the computer has worked flawlessly. I had a problem with the screen and the seller had me ship it back at their expense and fixed it free of charge during the 60-day warranty period. Whenever I called or e-mailed, they were extremely responsive. If you want a functional laptop at a fraction of the price for new, this is definitely the way to go. Read more

I bought this laptop at the end of 2024 and a few months after the purchase the laptop had power issues. When I tried to have it fixed, I found that the Dell warranty had expired in 2019 and that the battery had been replaced with the wrong battery. I should have known something was up when the serial tag was missing on the back of the laptop. I bought this renewed product as an open box or returned and refreshed item, but it looks like it was used a lot and fix with subpar parts. Read more
