Makes really good coffee but machine stopped working after a month. Evidently, there is an issue with this machine malfunctioning. We decided to give it a try...we purchased on Sep 27th and the machine stopped working on October 29th. The machine indicates that has no water (with a light on the front of the panel) even though the water tank is full. Others can be found with this problem when researching this issue on Youtube. I will update our review when we see how well customer service handles this issue. We had to break out the Keurig this morning so we could have coffee. Not the best way to start the day. Read more
I am an everyday coffee drinker. We have had several coffee machines before we ordered the Delonghi. I will never use another coffee machine again. So far I’ve used it for about 4 days — it checks a lot of boxes and some things are a little disappointing The points: It is not crazy loud (it’s grinding beans so there’s bound to be noise) The coffee tastes good — but the crema I hoped for is not always there, sometimes on the espresso style but not always. It’s big but not obnoxiously. The water is not as hot as I’d like. Even on the hottest setting this is not piping hot coffee. It’s warm-hot. The ounce measurements are not accurate. The 8oz button makes about 6oz and the 12 oz is actually more like 9 after measuring. The other sizes I don’t use so I didn’t measure. It’s pretty. The interface is easy. The set-up is easy and so far the cleaning hasn’t been anything too hard. For the price I’d rather the coffee be an appropriate temperature and the ounces be accurate I’ll report back if anything changes. Read more

This very expensive coffee pot is a total piece of garbage. My hope is that I can still return it. It is constantly broke down, malfunctioning and daily tedious, fussing to clean readjust, dislodge, and troubleshoot. I don’t know how many times I’ve been on DeLonghi‘s website looking for help and troubleshooting. What an infuriating disappointment and colossal waste of $800. Read more
After two weeks I wanted to drop a review to let people know how happy I am with this coffee maker. The fresh grind and brew single serve makes great tasting coffee, and the way the machine cleans up the internals after each cup is great. The wife and I have 4 to 6 cups each morning and then I spend 5 minutes to rinse out the two containers that catch the coffee grounds and rinse water. After 7 days I also pull the diffuser out and rinse it off. I'd rate maintaining this machine as being very easy. After trying so many kinds of single serve coffee makers I finally found the one that puts a big smile on my face! Read more
