The media could not be loaded. Waiting for it to heat up is worth it for the food quality and worth it for your health too! It doesn’t take long to wait if you time it with prepping or chopping. Learn how to use a stainless steel pan from one of the many tutorials on social media and your food will never stick again. If you burn something, scrub the heck out of it and don’t be worried about hurting the coating, because there isn’t one. Or let it sit overnight with some soapy water if you don’t want to scrub. And since I’m handing out cleaning tips, if there’s a stubborn stain or burn, don’t use barkeepers friend inside your pan if you can help it. Baking soda mixed with water works fine, but you do you. After using it a few times you might find that after washing, when the pan dries it might look greyish or dull. A little oil or pam or some oil spray wiped over it and it’ll be shining again (see photos of my larger size). The flawless chrome finish on the inside doesn’t last though, don’t be surprised! The lid fit is perfect. One caveat is that it’s heavy! no one tells you that because it’s a sauté pan, not the kind you flip around, but you do have to wash it! I hand wash because my dishwasher sucks and I’m preserving the pan to last for the rest of my life. But i have put the lid in the dishwasher and it comes out sparkling. BUY IT. Girl math, if you pass it down to your children then it saves them the cost of the pan, which means the full price of the pan is saved, right? Read more

These are heavy! But they are also stable with excellent heat conduction. The Silvinox does work pretty well also even though they are not as stick-free as the old non-stick pans (with PFOAs and PTFEs). Read more

This is a very solidly constructed high quality pan. The only reason I subtracted a star is because I cannot lift it with one hand and it is very award and difficult to tip it sideways and pour anything out. It heats up evenly and quickly. The first time I used it it got so hot on a medium low setting the oil burned and stained the pan. I thought it was ruined, but when I de glazed it with water it came off over time. I think this might have been from the finishing process they use, and after the first couple of times this is no longer a problem. With my electric stove I almost never cook anything higher then 2 of 10. The pan gets very hot and doesn't cool off quickly. I think this pan would be perfect for a male professional chef, but I have adapted to the challenges and really like using it daily. Definitely recommend this pan. Read more

The 4.2qt saute pan is extremely even heating on my 10.5" burner of my cooktop. It heats up pretty quickly on medium heat; I rarely if ever turn up the heat beyond medium. It holds an impressive amount of heat; when you throw in food, it sizzles and keeps on sizzling. I also have the 3qt saute;, which is equally impressive. I love the lack of rivets and the Silvinox finish. I have several Demeyere pans, and the finish is the same as the day I bought them. Other SS pans darken with use. Be aware this pan is heavy and large. It does not fit in my sink, so it's a bit of a pain to wash. Worth the effort however. Read more

I love this pan. I love this cookware. However, it was obvious that this had been returned as there were scratches on the outside of the pan and the labels had been torn off the original item box. Read more
