I received a free copy of the book. It's got some good information and is a decent starting point for developing systems for your own practice. For the price point they're selling it at, I would have expected it to be more in-depth, and at least in color or hardback. You can get most of the same information from their podcast and joining their online community. It just won't be quite as organized as this book. Read more

I gave this review 4 stars only because I felt like there was a little bit of a Bait & Switch. If you use the "look inside" function to preview the book, you will see that everything is in color. But when you get the book - it's ALL BLACK AND WHITE! Some of the stuff is REALLLYYYY difficult to read. Images are super low quality, pixelated, and unreadable in some instances. NOT THE TYPE OF BOOK YOU EXPECT FOR $250! As far as the actual content in the book - it's extremely useful. The book is super tactical. Basically has everything you need to know to run a dental practice, how to structure contracts, forms to set expectations and hold people accountable, training materials, systems, etc. Great stuff that you can't find elsewhere. They want you to subscribe for DSN, which is probably a good idea if you are reading this book. But just know that if you subscribe for DSN, you get this operations manual free with your DSN membership so there is no need to purchase the book. The op manual on DSN is in color and the images are actually more readable. Don't buy this book if you want crappy photos and images unreadable in black and white. Just subscribe to DSN.
