Noticed some buildup of tartar on my teeth a while back and tried desperately to do scraping with dangerous alternatives to actual tools. These obviously need to be used with caution, and I will do so sparingly as needed between 6 month cleanings. Easily cleaned between teeth in a way even floss can't.
