started with .25mm then .50mm, and the most I can tolerate is 1mm due to pain. But every 10 to 14 days now for three months and I am seeing results, good improvements on my face, and I am just starting to see results on my hair. I read it takes a good 6 months before noticeable good results, so I'm not stopping, I am probably going to pull back to twice a month and keep going at least a year and then once per month after. It's a great product.just make sure to get the right needle size. I bought the 0.25 but is way to short I can't even feel the needle. I will definitely stick with the 0.50 size since that's the one I have always use and it really seams to give results. I used this in addition to hair growth product (minoxidil) in the form of foam wish I find to be way more practical for application. I can start to see results. Just got to stick with the habit as strictly as possible. I personally use it every other day right after shower. Read more
