I love, love, love this thing. We have a nice home, but I keep a light on in the upstairs landing that I have to go up every night and turn off. I am recently recovering from some knee issues and climbing those stairs at night is not any more fun than climbing them in the morning to turn the light back on. Gr8 Application, in lieu of a very expensive Service Call !

Saved us a VERY expensive Service Call ! This house has a built-in central Vacuum system. Plug the Hose into the outlet, --MANY-- yards from Vacuum Cleaner in the Garage. Turn the switch ON on the Hose Handle. Turn the switch OFF to move furniture, or to move the Hose to a different room. Over the years, (I believe), rodents got inside the walls and chewed the wiring. The Central Vac no longer came on when the Hose was plugged in ! $#@&*%$ ! For Years! To make it operate, it USTA BE necessary to hike out to the Garage, manually plug the Vacuum in to the electric outlet, go back inside to operate the hose, with the Motor running constantly! And vacuum until done; Motor running, even when I changed the Hose to another outlet. The Vacuum Motor ran constantly until vacuuming finished. Surprised the Central Vac Motor didn't burn up like that! Then I spotted this Product on amazon - DEWENWILS Indoor Remote Control Outlet . The Central Vac Motor in the Garage is plugged in to the female part of THIS "Indoor Remote Control", instead of directly into the Outlet Using two Zip-ties, this SWITCH attachment is connected to the end of the Hose at the Vacuum handle. Turn the Switch ON to vacuum. Turn it OFF the move furniture, or move the hose to another room. No more trips outside to the Garage! Almost as good as new now, despite the evil rodents! This DEWENWILS Indoor Remote Control Outlet senses through MANY walls, floors, and upstairs & down, forty feet away ! It was a life saver! VERY HAPPY with this DEWENWILS Indoor Remote Control Outlet ! Saved us a very expensive Service Call ! Cinco de Mayo 2024 Getting ready to order a second one, for the other longer but cordless hose.
